To whom it may concern,
I am deeply disturbed by the brutal rape incidents that happened in Indonesia during the riot.
There were not typical rape crimes. The victims were raped, tortured, and killed. In fact,
I would even classi~ these crimes as the war of humanity. The criminals not only took away
the victims' lives, but their dignity as well. Unfortunately, justice still has not been put forth.
Before I proceed any lurther with my critique, I would like to thank the people who directly
or indirectly tried, but failed, to stop such horrified catastrophe on behalf of the human race.
Therefore, I urge the criminals or perhaps creatures if you will, to claim the sins that they have
committed. Otherwise, the good name of their race as well as the highly respected Allah will
be ruined because of the outraged sins they committed.
These are not stereotypes of the tradeoff when there is riot. The criminals, in fact, abused the
situation to fulfill their animal instinct. Thus, their existences are threats to humanity.
Nevertheless, I urge all of you, in reading this response letter, to put yourselves in the victims'
shoes, and judge from the heart of humanity---so that 'justice will be upheld" and the victims
may rest in peace.
My deepest empathy,
Thomas Lim
